Lachen verpönt
In irgendwelchen Klamottenläden* versorgten wir uns damals mit den ziemlich aufwändig gestalteten Broschüren zur jeweils aktuellen Saison-Kollektion. Die meisten Seiten aus diesen Wunderwerken der Fotografie- und Gestaltungskunst wurden zu Briefumschlägen gefaltet und geklebt (denn zu jener Zeit schrieb man sich noch Briefe) und durchgondelten die Republik anschließend in Postwägen und Postzügen, um zumeist nach sehr angemessener Zeit im Briefkasten der jeweiligen Empfängerinnen zu landen (Empfänger bekamen nur die schnöden 0815-Umschläge). Nur wenige Katalogseiten überlebten die Schreibwut und wurden zur Zeichenvorlage. So wie diese melancholische Dame, die irgendwann einmal an Bord eines Dampfers an der Reling stand und melancholisch guckte, weil sie wohl so gucken musste. Denn auch schon in jenen Tagen war das fröhliche Lachen bei der Inszenierung von Mode verpönt. Warum eigentlich?
